About tymzi

tymzi is an event discovery and attendance platform for Uganda and East Africa. We help people find events, RSVP, and check in using QR codes. We do not organise, host, or control any event listed on the platform.

Who can use tymzi

You must be at least 13 years old to use tymzi. By signing in, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Event organisers must be 18 or older.

Creating events

When you create an event, you are responsible for all information you publish. You confirm that the event is real, that you have the right to publish it, and that attendees will receive what you described. tymzi may remove events that violate these terms or that receive significant complaints.

Attending events

Your RSVP or ticket purchase is between you and the event organiser. tymzi is not responsible for the quality, safety, or conduct of any event. If you have a problem with an event, contact the organiser first, then email us if unresolved.

Payments

Paid event tickets are processed through our payment partner (Flutterwave). tymzi retains a service fee on each paid transaction. Refunds are at the discretion of the event organiser unless required by law. Contact [email protected] for payment disputes.

QR codes and check-in

Your QR code is personal and non-transferable. Do not share your QR code with others. Using someone else's QR code or falsifying attendance is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.

Prohibited use

You may not use tymzi to: • Create fake or misleading events • Spam or harass other users or attendees • Scrape or automate access to event data • Circumvent QR verification systems • Use attendee contact information for unsolicited marketing

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Ugandan law, tymzi's liability for any claim is limited to UGX 50,000. We are not liable for events that are cancelled, postponed, or fail to meet your expectations. Use the platform at your own risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of tymzi after changes are published means you accept the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes via the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Uganda.
